I’m a certified mindset and macro coach, AFAA certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and owner of Inside Out Health. I am a wife, and mom of 3 amazing children.
about me
I've struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. As a child, my mom had to shop in stores that sold husky and plus sizes just to find clothes that fit me. I felt like I never fit in because I couldn't wear the "normal" clothes that everyone else wore. When I tried to play sports, the uniforms didn't fit, so I stuck out like a sore thumb wearing something different from the rest of my teammates. This made me drop out of sports pretty quickly. Around the age of 10, my mom took me to a Weight Watchers meeting for children. That was the moment I truly believed I was fat. Soon after, I began hiding and binging on food. I was always trying to lose weight but had no idea how. This led to years of binge and restrict cycles.
Throughout my life, I've tried countless diets and quick fixes, including Fen-Phen in college. You name it, I tried it. But none of them worked for me because they were always so restrictive and impossible to maintain long-term. After becoming a mom in 2005, I reached my heaviest weight of 285 pounds. I knew then and there that I had to change the trajectory of my life and break the cycle of obesity in my family. I didn't want my daughter to grow up overweight and develop the same unhealthy relationship with food that I had.
What followed was more failed diets, punishing my body with endless cardio sessions that yielded no results, and soaking up every piece of information I could find about diet and exercise. I tried every trick in the book: eating low-carb high-protein and fat, cutting out sugar and fruit, intermittent fasting, only exercising in a fasted state, and more. Nothing seemed to work.
Fast-forward to spring of 2022. I was in a hunt to find someone to teach me how to figure out my macros. I had tried counting macros in the past and could tell this was something my body liked, but the program I followed had way too many rules and restrictions to it. I found a coach online who promised she could do what I was looking for, and I hired her. It was one of the biggest and best investments I have made for myself. Working with her completely changed my journey. I finally found the missing piece to my puzzle, the piece that had eluded me for so many years, and one that I never expected. It transformed my approach to health and fat loss, and I knew immediately that I wanted to help other women find their missing piece too.
Today, as a coach, my mission is to guide women on their journey to health and self-love. I know firsthand how challenging and frustrating the process can be, but I also know that with the right support and mindset, lasting change is possible. Together, we can break the cycle and create a healthier, happier future.

This is where we begin to build and frame your path to optimal health.

The final stage is all about maintaining your hard-earned results. Here, you'll learn strategies to sustain your weight and continue to make progress without the fear of regaining lost weight. We will fine-tune your plan and solidify the habits that ensure lasting success. This stage is designed to help you achieve and maintain a healthy, balanced lifestyle for the long term.

Ultimately no matter what happens I've already won...my relationship with food is better. I'm able to enjoy and not binge. I'm able to balance things out. I don't let single meals, where I indulge, derail me for the rest of the day or week. I'm now able to look at the scale as a data point and not let it define who I am or make me feel bad about myself. I weigh 209/210 right now... heaviest I've been in awhile for an extended period of time and I'm not freaking out, I'm not depressed. It's just where I am along this journey right now.
